I know this thread is withering on the vine, but I wanted provide an update. Again, this is my personal experience only. I'm not saying hypnotherapy absolutely will lead to improvement, but I feel comfortable saying that it can be beneficial. I believe that it has helped me chip away (synapses? beneficial chemical releases? brain elasticity?) - several layers of the iceberg (depression) that has encased me for many years. I am not even going to attempt to understand or explain it. But, it is the only new thing I've added recently to my routine in the past month or so, and I actually feel more positive and hopeful. That is all.
