I hope you can get a nap in. I know for me that trying to sleep during the day is useless but I have hope for you. When I traveled from Texas to Minnesota I left at 2 am too so I could get out of Texas before the rush hour started. I used to drive straight though but age put a stop to that. I would stop at rest areas and do jumping jacks with two cop flashlights. I had a cooler with water and proteins snacks and didn't stop of restaurants. But the traffic and road construction in Texas was awful so driving at night with less traffic was best. My last trip tho, with a full car I took two hotel stops and took my time, I arrived with more energy than usual. fortunately Sir was a great traveler too.
