Ok, so my boyfriend that lives in Texas has Asperger's syndrome and I think I might have Asperger's myself. I've had multiple people I know and or talked to and they all have said they think I have Asperger's and one of them was a friend with a son and husband with Asperger's syndrome.

My symptoms are:
-Aggression.
-Compulsive behavior.
-Fidgeting.
-Impulsivity.
-Repetitive movements.
-Social isolation.
-Persistent repetition of words or actions.
-Poor coordination.
-Anger.
-Anxiety (all the time).
-Apprehension.
-Depression.
-Intense interest in a limited number of things.
-Learning disability (since I started school to begin with).
-Nightmares, which when I was a kid and teenager I had night terrors as my parents called it every single night. And, they could never get me to wake up from them, even if they splashed cold water on me.
-Sensitivity to sound (I can't stand car tires screeching, street cleaners with their brushes, buses when they let some of the air out of the tires to pick up people in wheelchairs/scooters and there's this really screeching noise that comes from the tires. It drives me nuts and I can't stand the sound so I cover my ears).
-I have a problem expressing my emotions on the outside unless I'm really angry or sad and I cry. Other than that, I don't really talk about my emotions. In fact if I do I only do it over text/messages or I write it out on paper. I can't understand my emotions unless I have time to think about it and write it out as stated. I've always done and been like that.
-I rock back and forth, especially when I have major anxiety.
-I can't stand eating in from of other people, it makes me self conscious, nervous and embarrassed. I hate it, and I'll actually put my hand in front of mouth as I eat so people can't see me eating my food.

I know there's probably more and I honestly think I might have Asperger's syndrome and I would like advice on if I should get tested and how? Like what kind of doctor do I need to see? Honestly, as I'm planning on moving to Texas to be with my boyfriend, I should probably wait to get tested until me and my boyfriend have a stable place to stay which probably won't be for many more months. From the symptoms I just listed am I likely or unlikely to have Asperger's syndrome?
