last week my Aunt passed away. her funeral was on Monday, and I was a pall-bearer. she was SO much more than just an aunt to me! she had become so much to me: a supporter, a cheerleader, a confidant, a safe 'hide-out', an ear, a shoulder, an encourager/empower-er, and most days the only reason I had to even check my email or texts!

i keep checking my cell to see if there's a text from her! and i keep thinking 'i should text her'!!

i open my email and expect to see something from her! it's so much worse than a punch in the gut! i've lost "my person" - she had become like a best-friend to me over the past like ten years.

[only got two friends, outside of relatives]

it's also the third major loss for me in the last 17 months

(all in less than a year & a half)
