Can someone be addicted to a person? I ask because I have quit all of my prior addictions, I no longer smoke, I rarely drink and every know and then I’ll pop a pill but I can’t say it’s an addictions because it’s not a need it’s a want. However lately I feel like my problem is my partner, I think I’m addicted to him. He has a problem that he will not get help for and he continues with the classic lines of I’ll stop I need help but won’t actually go get help. Now I know I am enabling him by buying it for him, but I feel like he is the addiction I can’t quit. I want to move forward in my life, I want to have money to be able to do things and not just spend it all on drugs.... I know this is a toxic situation but I can’t convince myself to stop and walk away. Has anyone else dealt with something like this and if so how did you finally end the cycle?
