It really depends on how much you decide you want to take. Often the pain has to become greater than letting things stay as they are. Only then will you change the way you relate to her. We teach people how to treat us. They may start out in life as cruel selfish people but if we allow the treatment to continue without consequences then why would they change? You will have to put a lock on your door. It doesnt matter if it offends her. It offends you and your dog to have her violate your space. If you decide to go a step further and there is physical abuse then maybe get the police involved- if you want it to stop. You may consider moving into a place where you have your own space.
