It's incredibly rude that people called you ugly, it says more about them than it does about your looks. It's hard to say what is pretty or ugly. Scientists say the most average looking people are the most attractive which sounds boring.

I personally find that people look attractive when I like them. If they are nasty, their face will always look ugly to me. You could post a photo here if you like. People on this site aren't mean.
