I also have really bad sleep problems and the only thing that’s ever been suggested to me is Melatonin which doesn’t work. There’s stuff like zzquil which works but if you have night terrors do not use it. My sleep specialist just suggested going to bed at the same time and getting up at the same time. Yeah I try to go to bed with the melatonin she tells me to take and I still don’t get to sleep until 2:30AM. Maybe your doctor will be better. Mine is a loony though.
