Don't give up so easily on a good idea. How many cookbooks are out there? Food blogs, mental health blogs, flower blogs. how may crime shows on...-----your voice is unique and the way you put things together will be unique---
I like the idea of having other voices/stories---but if that daunts you or people are initially quiet, set that piece aside and just work on writing/when you read what is out there, notice what appeals to you and what doesn't, what you don't see that you would like to....
(maybe talk to HappyCrafter as she has used her story & recovery & has been published & more)
