Ive used heroin and being put on methadone then used dihydrocodeine to mask the sickness. Nearly got off that but got back because I fractured my knee. The surgery staff were so mad that morphine and fentanyl didnthave any impact on the pain at all. They used demerol but apart from a mood lift nothing on the pain. So now im overusing. Dont think i wznt to stop.i wake up cagey and crappy and swallow ten.

Is your dihydrocodeine compounded with Tylenol or asprin? Most of the time they put tylenol in it when its used as a pain reliever. It may say paracetamol on the label but that is just another word for Acetaminophen/ Tylenol. I cant stress enough how careful you have to be. A lot of people who overdose on rx pain meds like yours or percocet, vicodim etc- they dont necessarily die from respiratory distress, many times its organ damage and failure. By the time you notice severe pain or yellow eyes or skin its nearly too late.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Addiction and drug overuse are not easy things to overcome, but it is important that you do. There are many different resources that can help you. It may be helpful to talk to a medical professional, as well as a trusted friend or family member. There are also rehab centers that do a great job helping those who struggle with addiction. I wish you all the best.
