My psych doctor thinks I need to go to rehab for my alcohol addiction.
The past 2 nights I have had only 2 beers after work and don't want any more. If I was that addicted I could not do that right?

Why does your doc think you need rehab? What behavior is he basing this on?

I am an alcoholic but am trying to do controlled drinking. I have not abstained and she doesn't like this. The drinking was interfering with my sleep....and I was not sleeping which was terrible. I slept again last night so I can drink 2 beers and still sleep, I can live with this.

Bizi I think you are in denial. I think the idea of giving up alcohol frightens you. Yes you did white knuckle it though lent but that was a dry drunk. Going to treatment you will learn a lot more than just giving up drinking.

If you can control your drinking then my hat's off to you.
