Default Catastrophizing in memory

I think I'm doing an ACOA thing.

My wife and I argue, but in my memory it is much bigger than it perhaps was.

When things are good, I don't necessarily remember an argument from a couple of days ago. It's like it's erased.

Can someone relate to that?

I can relate to the erased part, maybe less so the catastrophizing in memory. You have me wondering now, though!
