I don't have to deal with unnecessary stuff. I think people, or others, are my biggest problem. Still look forward to leaving this world behind. I wanna be rich first though.

Ditto but every so often I keep trying to find a friend who's like me but it never happens. It's just so strange to me that there's not a single person on this planet who's at least someone like me which makes me think I'm in some dream, more like a nightmare which just makes things even worse because who wants to believe they're all alone stuck in a dream. ....I think too much

You're looking for either the Avoidant PD or Schizoid PD forums.

@theoretical may I ask how schizoid PD differs from schizophrenia or no association at all? Just confusing labeling?

They have little to do with each other. Schizoid PD is characterized by a disinterest in life, basically. They have no motivation to form any kind of relationship or do anything aside from sit at home in complete isolation. Schizophrenia, by contrast, is characterized by a limited capacity to grasp reality; e.g. deluded thinking, hallucinations, false beliefs, etc.

Thank you for this. I have more knowledge and experience of folks living with NPD and BPD. Several other PDs are quite a mystery to me and I like to learn more the various psych challenges of humans.

Yeah, the Schizoids are a rare type and mostly go unnoticed due to their habit of hiding in their homes all alone.

I didn't know that's what Schizoid was. Seem like they could give it a better description name.

"Antisocial" is pretty self-descriptive. "Anti" is used as "against". I don't know who was the genius who decided to use "antisocial" as a synonym for "asocial" or to describe people with Schizoid/avoidant disorder. It's pretty common to get confused with these terms nowadays.
