How does everyone deal with boredom? I try to abstain from illegal activities. But my boredom is through the roof.

I engage in a variety of activities which usually fall into one of two categories, those being...

Thrill-seeking: Martial arts, various sports, bike riding, hiking and mountain climbing, sky diving, caving, paintball, ghost hunting/debunking, driving too fast (in general), sex, scaring/pranking people, etc.

Intellectually stimulating: Poker, arguing with people, ****ing with people, reading and writing, chess, film/book analysis and subsequent discussions, philosophy, video games, puzzles, digging up information on various things like cold cases or people.

I'll usually have one main hobby for about a month to a year, depending on the hobby, before interest in it begins to fade, and then I'll move onto something new.

How do you dig up information on cold cases? That sounds very interesting. I would love to look into that

Internet, mostly. There are a lot of True Crime addicts who dig up photographs, interviews, evidence catalogues, etc. and post them on their blogs or wherever else. It's kinda like a real life mystery story where you find the evidence on your own and piece together the story from the details. I try not to go any further than that, although I have visited the hotel where Elisa Lam died and Ted Bundy's apartment when I was in those areas.

The problem with a lot of these true stories, however, is that the "ending" is often underwhelming, same with the ghost hunting adventures. It's only a creepy building, and shadows play tricks on the mind. Elisa Lam was on drugs/had a bipolar episode and climbed into that water tank herself. Ted Bundy was just an asshole.

But they can be good inspiration for fictional crime stories.

I have problems with this too. When nothing happens in my life, my mood geting more and more worse and usually there is a flat affect. Constantly i am trying to find ways to entertain myself.

Gaming, forums, drama, dark humor, lucid dreaming, psychology alleviate this problem. Sometimes I watch sick, sadistic movies

I'm passionate about music production and it also gives me a perfect excuse for being so cut off from the world. An average person might understand how I could spend thousands of hours sharpening a craft and it allows me to hide my antisocial nature.
