When you're on antidepressant medication, do you feel your emotions as you would naturally or normally? Or do they feel any different in some way?

It's not really predictable what effects they can have on you. The same antidepressant can have very different effects on different people. For some people they work fine. The one's I tried made me emotionally numb and I had a quite bad reaction in general. It's worth a try if you believe in them.

Thank you. I've been obsessing about this quite a lot, because I'm making such good and quick progress in therapy and I don't want anything, like medication, to interfere. However, I'm also still not in great shape following this nervous breakdown I had, so a med can help me restore.

It's a constant debate with myself lol. But I appreciate your feedback.

Anti depressants make me just me,not overly happy. Just how I think I am supposed to be. They have kept me alive and functioning very well. I was able to do therapy because of them.
