Mostly I just need to vent....

I'm going away for just one night tomorrow and today I am already feeling so nervous that I can't sleep.
What's annoying me the most is I've traveled the past three weekends and it seems my anxiety is only growing, despite everything being absolutely fine every single time. First weekend my anxiety was lowest, last weekend it was much higher and today it's crazy high. Things have even been much better than I'd expected! Shouldn't I somehow be "learning" from these positive experiences and getting less anxious every time? I don't even really know what it is I'm worried about now. I do think I've gotten calmer over the flight so... Why do I feel this tension in my body keeping me awake?

Gotta love a vicious circle.... I'm now getting anxious about my anxiety. Maybe it's because the event I'm going to tomorrow is so important to me. I'm scared my anxiety will bring physical symptoms that will ruin it for me usually I'm okay telling myself "it's just anxiety" but it's much stronger now, making it harder.
I just want to get this stress out of me somehow! Already worked out earlier in the evening and it's now past midnight so I really need to get some sleep :/

Ugh, I finally fell asleep close to 1 am last night and woke up again just after 6 this morning, just couldn't sleep anymore

Now I'm at the airport together with my high anxiety. I prefer the really really early flights where I'm not quite awake yet to be anxious. Today it's a 1 pm flight though. And it's windy. I can't wait to land at my destination!

If your anxiety is acute and high sometimes it's better to let it happen then it passes quicker. Kind of like being told to not think of oranges when someone says "don't think of oranges - what are you thinking about?" Probably aranges. Same with hiccups.
