Aww... I wish you weren't feeling scared all the time. This might sound strange, but I'll just throw it out there because you're always such a sweetheart in your posts, and I do want you to feel better.
Last week, I spent the better part of my time in bed because of some serious panic and anxiety. I was feeling so scared all the time myself. I had an idea out of the blue and it did help. I layered every blanket I could find on top of me...I think I ended up with 8 blankets in all! I even took my son's from his bed Feeling scared all the time!
The weight and warmth of the blankets was very comforting and helped ease some of my fears. Maybe you could try it and let me know if it works for you as well?!

I'm so sorry, xmascarol Unfortunately anxiety can work like that. You always feel like something terrible is going to happen. I'm so sorry, please don't give up. Keep doing what you're doing. Keep yourself busy. Are you taking your meds? Do they help a bit? If not, perhaps you could talk to your Pdoc about this and see how it goes from there. I'm so sorry, I wish I've had more advice to give to you. You can do this! You're strong, I know that. I believe in you. Is there anything we can do to help you? Please let us know. Remember that we're here for you. Feel free to PM me anytime. Let me know if I can do something to help you. Wish you good luck! Let us know how it goes. I'm so sorry you have to deal with this

Do you have a doctor or treatment plan? Do you take any medication?

Hi I do take my meds I am on ,05 dosage of klonopin sometimes the fear gets worse at night,You want to hear something strange every once in awhile I do feel like someone is standing right behind me so I have to jump and look to make sure nobody or something is there my doctor says it is anxieties.Sometimes the meds work and other times no when it gets to be to bad I have to lay down because it feels like I cannot swallow.or breathe for that matter. That is when the meds wont even touch me

Take a selfie the next time you think someone is behind you. You will have proof in your smart phone that no one is behind you. I hope this will help.

The blanket thing makes sense in several ways. Security & all.
I also find that when I am cold & shaky it becomes harder for me to distinguish between panic and physical sensations, so when I am anxious I try to reduce physical discomforts so the panic is not amplified & so I don’t get confused between the two...
