I am searching for jobs but I don't want to take just any job, because I'm clumsy at times and socially awkward i would prefer to have a job where I'm mostly alone because I'm afraid people are going to make fun of/tease me. I'm afraid of being that guy. Plus I'm afraid I haen't lived up to my potential, but maybe what I'm doing now is the best that I can do, maybe I don't deserve a rich and fulfilling life because i don't have enough talent and/or work ethic.

I have worked in many different jobs and have ocassionally encountered people that enjoyed laughing at me. Some of them did not do it maliciously and when I was able to laugh along with them, I was still able to enjoy the job. At one workplace I encountered someone who liked to laugh at other people, as in, took advantage of or laughed at others in order to make herself feel superior. Mostly, I didn't care what she thought about me (who knows) but it drove me crazy to see her do this to other nice coworkers. Confronting her was very stressful because we were coworkers (this is easier for a supervisor to do.)

I would urge you to keep looking for and trying jobs when given the opportunity. Though your fears are possible, they do not always happen. There are many supportive workplaces out there.

I do Not tolerate teasing in any sense. I do not like making fun of people and I do not like people making fun of me. This is where I take a harsh approach to things. It is something that has brought me freedom and is very freeing to say or do and I'll tell you what it is. it involves a curse word. It can be “used” figuratively or literally. If someone makes fun of you tell them to go F**k themselves. Seriously they can F**k off. Shocking it is but nothing puts the brakes on bullying and teasing ime than something like this. You can of course say it in your mind because not all scenarios warrant a verbal warning. But I promise you when you say this and mean it or think it and believe it it’s like finding your own inner strength and peace.
