Hi everyone,
It is my first time on here and I am writing this because I am really struggling. Last year, I suffered a serious of bad panic attacks which left me unable to function for a couple of months. I had a lot of stress at the time and just hit breaking point when my dog died. Now it’s a year later and I feel like I’m left like this forever. Nothing feels real anymore to me. My life, my memories, my family and friends all seem alien to me. It is so terrifying, it feels as though I have lost my mind. I look at pictures of myself and look in the mirror and I don’t know who it is (like I know it is me but I don’t feel the connection). I can’t go on like this, I just feel like I’m stuck here forever. What could this be? Have I gone crazy? Please someone give me some feedback so I can try to get my head around this. Thanks. |

Hello, have you been in Therapy? You said this is going on for a year, I believe going to see a psychiatrist and a therapist will help you to figure it all out. I know how you are feeling, panics attacks can get to bad that you feel like you area paralyze. Stuck in a place that you can't get out, but there are many treatments for us to get better. Hugs
