Well one of my biggest fears came to life this afternoon I fell and I couldnt get myself up.I tried about a half dozen times so I ended up calling 911 they picked me right up.I was so scared I was yelling at the top of my lungs help help me please nobody came ,I know they would nt have done anything but they could have checked up on me,Nope not in this place, the fall in itself, was strange I was sitting down cleaning my closet out to put my summer stuff in there when I went to reach something the chaired ,moved on me and I fell hit my head on the chair then landed on my back. This is so embarrassing. They told me that they do get a lot of calls with people falling ,I dont understand this place someone calls for help and nobody comes. My blood pressure was good, they took and oxygen test so I am still breathing, but my back hurts now, that is nothing new.Right now I am so afraid to move.I was reaching for something and I could feel myself coming off the seat.Wanna make a bet someone went and called the land lady saying I was yelling .Well they will know now that I fell.Still upset

I am so sorry this happened to you
You are safe now, but I understand how frightening all this experience is for you. I am sorry that the people that live around you cannot even bother to check on you. But, you can't change them. What you can do is to be thankful that is wasn't that bad. That you have people that really care about you here. That you alone took care of your situation and got help. I am proud of you.

You are not alone,

I'm so sorry you fell. I can imagine how scary this must have been. Thank goodness for 911. I hope you begin feeling better soon.

I fell years ago and it was so bad blood was every where I hit the entertainment center it had glass my head was bleeding so bad it was a total mess.I had to stay in a nursing home and believe me it was no fun I will never go into one of those places anymore .They are rude and could care less how the patients felt.
