I'm sorry to hear this happened to you... hope your poor head is okay. I have the impression falls are a major cause of injuries in older adults. I live in an area where there are lots of us older folks. And I know there have been a number of incidents of falling recently just within the complex I live in alone. So far I haven't had any falls yet. But I know that anytime something such as this happens to a person it tends to make one apprehensive. So I'm not surprised you're feeling anxious & scared. Hopefully you will be able to avoid a repeat performance.

I am sorry to hear this has happened to you. Should you consider seeking medical attention for your head? I know that concussions are nothing to play around with. I am not saying this to make you even more anxious, I am just concerned myself and I'd like you to be safe.

this happened to me when I was a child over at a friend's house for a sleepover

I know how scary it is and painful

luckily where I live, the tv is on the wall so their's less chance of me falling on it

this woman's bedroom wasn't exactly the tidiest

so that's why I fell- because her tv was just sitting on the floor
