Default McDonald's and Spiders

When I'm waiting at 10 pm (dark) when they've only got the drive through open for my son to get off work at mcdonalds, I think random people wandering the parking lot are going to get me. They try to talk with me through the car's closed windows. When my son is at work in general, I feel like someone will
Possible trigger:

I am also afraid of spiders. All types. When I see them I have to kill them. Inside- outside I just move away from them. My fear is having them crawl on me and/or bite me.

re: your first point, what helps me is to know that those people are their for the exact same reason you are.

you're their for mcdonalds, they are their for mcdonalds

you're their to do shopping in a supermarket, so are they- they are just going about their business, just like you

and in this situation: you're waiting in a car. the probibility of someone actually getting in and physically harming you is so unlikely. drive around a bit until he's ready to meet you, have your windows closed, do what ever you need to do to make you feel safe

as for spiders, the spiders more probably scared of you, than you of the spider. they are their so they can build webs and catch flies, not bite people.

Those people knock on my car windows. And im out there indefinitely because they walk up from down the street. If they try to go in and find that the restaurant is closed they sometimes leave but some of them just walk up to hang around trying to knock on my windows.

As far as Spiders, some just crawl around in the bathroom and they hunt. I don't want them crawling over me in bed!

Well you'll be happy to know that nobody bothered me tonight and my son didn't take very long to get to the car. I hope the last 3 days are as easy! I still had to turn my car and lights out and turn the music way down just in case.
