So I have bad anxiety. It has gotten worse over the years even though I am in treatment. I had to leave my job because I felt it getting worse and I was literally biting my tongue to not lose my job over explosions. I have a very short fuse now.
I talked with my psychiatrist because I was already on Celexa, Buspar, and Trazadone for anxiety and depression as well as PTSD. She added Abilify to help me. After 6 months of being unemployed and taking care of 6 kids (all of which aren't mine), I finally tried a work from home job. My parents kept pressuring me to get back in the game and I just couldn't. I couldn't get the guts to put myself back out in the job world because of everything. I also now have panic attacks and get paranoid. Personally, I fit the criteria for Bipolar and Borderline but I am waiting until I see my dr again. |

I wish I had known about Buspar and SSRIs back when I was working, before I retired. I think one of them might have helped me cope with all the anxiety of driving to and from work and trying to cope while at work. But if they existed, I knew nothing about them, or about any benzos either.

Bit of a cross-thread post this. But I'd recommend looking into; CBD. You would need to check with the psychiatrist prescribing your medication that there wouldn't be any drug interactions. It's very good for anxiety and depression.
Talk to the psychiatrist about what's going on and your concerns regarding the paranoia, panic attacks and potential un-diagnosed issues. Also your on a few meds for anxiety + depression, maybe a review.?? if they don't seem to be helping. While you wait for an appointment, something you could start on; as recommended above - is breathing excersises, and yoga. Youtube is good for some beginner yoga classes - just make sure you go easy to begin with, even the beginner poses can be tough for the first few weeks.. and some videos take this into account more than others. __________________ DX: BDD, OCD, Avoidant Personality Disorder, C-Ptsd RX: 4mg Diazepam daily ___ |
