I'm sorry you have been experiencing anxiety and panic for years. I see you are in South Africa. I'm not aware of how your mental health system works there, but is there anyway you can get in to see a counselor or therapist? There are some treatments like CBT--cognitive behavioral therapy that some people find helpful for anxiety and panic. If you can't get into see a counselor or therapist, can you go see your primary care doctor? Sometimes they will have referrals to treatment providers. There are also medications you can take for anxiety and panic if you are so inclined, but sometimes it is better to see if it can be treated without medications in my opinion. But your doctor would best be able to advise you on your options and come up with a treatment plan that will work for you. You may also google breathing exercises and stuff like that. When I am experiencing anxiety, I try to remember to breathe very deeply and it restores my sense of stability usually. It is worth a shot. I hope you start to find relief. Hugs if okay, Kit
