I'm really anxious about some chest discomfort I've been experiencing. It just started the other day and its only when I eat. It feels like a pressure, heaviness type. Sometimes it feels like anxiety sometimes it feels like it could be something more. I did have an iron infusion about a week ago, so it could be a side effect from that but . IDK really don't want to go to the hospital because I've been multiple times and of course they say nothing is wrong with me. I just want to know when will it end, all of these random aches and pains that give me anxiety. I really don't Know what to do at this point.

If it happens whem you eat it could be a digestive issue. Anxiety often give me upset stomach. Indigestion is sometimes linked to heart probems in women so if you it female its probably not that.

I don't know what iron infusions are for. Do you have a list of possible side effects for the infusion?

ken it sounds like it could be heartburn or acid reflux. definitely could be a side effect of your iron infusion. did you tell that to your doctor?

@ken9018 do not beat yourself up for going to UC. I know I'd be a nervous wreck too if I had an iron infusion. I've researched those because of my chronic anemia and my doctor bugging me to get my own iron infusion. I would do the same thing. UC is there as a resource. No matter what. Glad that you went and have peace of mind now.
