This is something I am not at all good at.
I struggle with anxiety and panic. I can feel it eating me up I use anxiety meditations sometimes... I will look out some for you. Distraction can be some support. Smelling scented oils? I am sending hugs and much empathy |

I'm not so good either. I think the scented oils is a good idea though. I mean, guess I've tried that. Lavendar is what I was recommended.

Just for reference: PsychCentral - Anxiety Disorders I get partial relief from anxiety in deep, slow diaphragmatic breathing and by consciously slowing my "normal" movements. It can make me look ridiculous, but less so as I age. __________________ My dog mastered the "fetch" command. He would communicate he wanted something, and I would fetch it. |

You asked for some resources.....I love The Anxiety Guy (Dennis Simsek). You can follow him on FB and he also does podcasts and YouTube videos. He is very active on the internet so there are not weeks or months where you don't hear anything from him. Anxiety is his business. I also like Jay Shetty and Mel Robbins puts out some pretty good material too. Just Google search any of these. |
