This just started about 2 years ago. I find that if I feel any emotion or feelings at all, I will have a panic attack. Sometimes small, other times full-blown.

Example:

My daughter lives out of state and we don't see each other but about once per year. I was visiting her and the morning I was to leave for the airport to go home, she started to cry because she would miss me. I immediately began to panic, heat throughout my body, heart pounding, short of breath.

Even if I laugh too hard, I begin to feel short of breath and that sends me into a panic attack.

So, I have turned into a non-feeling, emotionless hermit, rarely leaving the house, and having no hope of ever having a relationship again or even enjoying being with family or friends.

Does anyone else experience this?

I'm so sorry you are struggling with this. What you describe happened to me about five years ago and it was awful. Only a physician was able to help me. Hope you find something that helps you. Panic attacks are so awful! Indescribable.

Panic attacks are scary!

They were more scary for me when I became increasingly scared of them because that made things worse.

They terrified me until I learned what they were, what they felt like, ways to cope with them, and became aware of when I was having one, so I could do something about it. Now, I rarely have one and have self-help tools to cope with them.

Meds can also be helpful.

For me, the first step was to learn more about panic attacks.

There are good resources about panic attacks, including PsychCentral:
Panic Attack Symptoms and Diagnosis Panic Attack Symptoms | Psych Central

Panic Attack Treatment Panic Disorder Treatment | Panic Attacks | Psych Central

There are ways to live with panic attacks so they are not as scary.

Sending well wishes your way!
