I made an appointment with a therapist because my doctor wanted me to see one. I don't mind it is on a Saturday because there's no traffic in the morning, but it's at 9;00 am. I'm worried because my anxiety has not been good lately, especially in the morning I have this impeding fear that doesn't go away. I'm going to take my medication Fluoxetine & Clonazepam so she could take a look at it. Since I have been having anxiety almost every day, I have lost enjoyment of things because i would think i would have anxiety attack again etc. i'm going to be anxious, How do you usually prepare for it? Should I change it to next week?

If you are changing it as a way of avoiding it for a little longer, you probably should leave it for Saturday. I know moving it might give minor relief, but going through with it will get it done -- which for me, is a more major relief to my anxiety and frees up my mind.

I hope your appointment with the therapist turns out to be a great experience. Sometimes it is good just to talk things out.

Well done!
Go on this way. I’m sure you will get lots of positive things from the therapy. Get ready for not so productive moments but therapy usually help the patient to know himself better and learn skills, there’s normally a change for good.
