At least, do you count with the right safety conditions at work to avoid the pest?

I do understand you. I also see what your government is doing as a madness. But, remember a politician don’t screw it up, putting at risk his charge on purpose. They do it because they feel forced to cover bigger $h1t.

Hope everything goes well there for the population especially for people who are at more risk.

I don't get it, all gatherings from with 50 or more people are forbidden. For events with less than 50 people, lists of all those present have to be kept with contact information for everyone. But 50 people in a train carriage, so close they're touching, standing face to face - that's fine?? And then spending 8 hours in open plan offices, with desks right next to each other - no problem???

I feel like 90% of Europe is being told to stay home as much as possible- including not going to work unless absolutely necessary - my country has just shut down all fun but we should risk our lives and those of other people to go to work still?
I understand you. Here the same even when we are one of the epidemic focus in Europe. In the trains still working there’s being also gatherings of many people and many companies didn’t establish the safety conditions to work.

Are you finally attending to work or at least, your coworkers are also the same side?

lol! Sure. Everyone should choose that they consider the best for this purpose. I’m gonna use for example, the political parties programs instead.

I'm grateful to my sore throat now - it's gotten to the point where it hurts to talk. I don't feel ill but as I work in customer service where I have to spend a lot of time talking on the phone, I've called in sick. Hopefully by Thursday when I have to go back to the office they'll have finally put the country in lockdown.

As long as I can still go grocery shopping - with extra safety measures if needed, like a limited number of people allowed inside - I'm good. I'm a hermit anyway Don't have any friends to visit.

I'm confused about the situation in your country. Do people still have to go to work in non-essential professions? So you're not allowed outside unless it's for essential shopping OR going to work? No going for a run at 5 AM when the streets are empty?
Over here people are being told it's fine to go outside and into nature. And then there's reports from people in Italy saying that's a bad idea.

I’m fortunate enough to be able to stay home. I take care of my 85 year old mom and my brother who is in poor health. I am worried about them. For right now we are stocked up and I will only need to go pick up medicine. I have to admit to some anxiety. The federal response has not been on the mark.

Here it’s happening the situation very similar to Italy. And as good cousins, we have also taken measures very late but luckily our government took hard steps yesterday.

Only essential workers are being made with presence of workers. Transports, essential products locals can be open. Of course, everyone who can be at home, they have to be, only are allowed to go out for a quick shopping, to give assistant to people who need it, walk the doggie and go to work.
All works that can be made online, companies are using this mean.

Of course, keep a certain distance and protection when you are forced to go outside. That’s why I was shocked this morning when I told you that in Madrid, some trains went full of people.
The transport minister has just said that as the first day, it was a test. lol! So, I get there will be changes tomorrow.

Take it easy so. Maybe the country you are in will take more decisions this week. And you will be able to recover from your sore throat and also escape the virus.

Break, I’m also a hermit and I’m way a homebody but it’s different when you are forced to be a recluse for so long. We didn’t have balcony either but windows.
My partner has to work in another city so I see myself soon like Tom Hanks having conversations with a ball, as in the movie.

I'd rather be forced to stay at home than end up in a hospital with a tube down my throat, though. We're hearing more and more that it's NOT just those with underlying health conditions that get complications. Young, healthy peole are ending up in intensive care as well.
Yes I'd hate to not be able to go for a walk anymore but if that's the price I have to pay for also not being forced to travel in the virus incubator that is public transport.... doesn't seem too bad of a trade off.

I'm seeing it very much as protection. I'm worried about my parents, who are talking about "what's not allowed anymore ". Especially my dad - and he's over 70 and has diabetes, he's high risk. He *could* order groceries online but he's like "I'm still allowed to go to the supermarket, aren't I?" Too damn stubborn.

I need to stop reading so much. This virus is seriously scary. What it can do to even young, healthy people...

The only news I want to read now is that the country is going in lockdown, or at least the city.

I really don't understand the approach certain countries are taking.

Europe doesn’t exist but European countries. They are alike among them as a tomato and an egg.
Each country is a whole world. In my country, for example, each time the government has to take a decision, they have to be careful with different sensitivities corresponding with the different lands within. The Communities.

It’s better to listen to the news once a day and especially to experts and as you say, the measures the government takes.
Trying to take a routine as normal as possible.
I do understand you because I was yesterday so anxious that I only wanted to hear and tell jokes as a way of relief.
I envy people who live in the country-size or at least, the ones who has a little yard.

Great, my sore throat is turning into a cold. Damn it. So now fingers crossed I either get a message tomorrow that we can work from home on Thursday, or my cold will be over before Thursday. Technically we're advised to stay home with a cold, even though my symptoms match a cold but not corona. But I just started a new job and I don't want to have to miss an entire week of work so soon And I also don't want to go see my doctor for another note.

(Side note, looking at some charts online comparing the symptoms of flu, cold and corona, they all have "headaches: rare" for cold. Really? I always have a headache when I have a cold )

Oh, poor mine! I hope your company let you work from home. I saw the news today and yes, the country you are in close the schools and few more.
I understand your dilema, being new in the company and all but health is in the first place.

Break, I heard a doctor today and from what he says, a little of fever, at about 37 are the first symptom of corona virus. Also when cough is not dry, and there’s body pain. It’s hard to distinguish. But, whereas you aren’t feverish, you have a cold.

I have my hands’ skin peeled from washing them up.

Here people is very “smart” While my poor doggies go out for 5 minutes, here it doesn’t matter what time it is there’s a constant drop of people walking in the street with a shop trolley as if they were going for shopping at 10:00 pm.

Authorities are really assholes saying that this virus affects mainly elderly and sick people. If it was the ebola virus, people got worried. As it mainly affects sick and elderly people, according to the news so far, they don’t care.
