and I need it to reopen

one of my obsessions is to look up queue-times and get the latest theme park statistics

I can't do that if all the US parks are closed because of coronavirus

everywhere I looked yesterday closed, closed, closed

and it's a big thing for me

I really need my latest theme park news

like really need it. like a person needs oxygen

I wish I knew when the theme parks would re-open, because at least then I'd have something to focus on

Maybe find a new obsession, I’m not sure what would be the same though. Disney closing doesn’t bother me in the slightest. I just want the Coronavirus to be gone and the economy to improve so people can afford to eat and support their families.

I didnt know that you could look up park queue times.

Pretty soon you should be able to look up statistics by state or by country of various coronavirus statuses - number tested, number ill, rates etc.

I can't do that

it goes back to my wanting to be a theme park engineer as a kid, and since I can't do that, I have to enjoy theme parks in another way

thanks for your post, but I guess I'm just going to have to wait for them to reopen (I now hear it's going to b mid-april)

Do any of those theme park builder games scratch that itch? It must be so hard waiting for them to open!

What about mini theme parks or theme parks from home, or virtual theme parks where a person wears virtual goggles or glasses.

Hmmm...

I’ve never been to any Disney Park. It’s too expensive. I’ve been to Nickelodeon Universe inside the Mall Of America a couple times though. I’m going back there in September. Was going to be April but I had to switch it.

It’s both. Smallish theme park like maybe 30 rides. There’s a giant roller coaster It’s a Humongous mall biggest in the United States.

Raging, things are bad here. Stuff isn’t open here. No one would allow peopke going on rides spreading virus during pandemics. I don’t think you understand the severity.

I don’t know where you are in UK but I have family in London and people are allowed to leave the house once a day for a store, once a day to walk in isolation and go to and from work if they are essential employees. Isn’t the same where you are at? Same here.

No one can go to malls or theme parks even if they were open.

Some states are doing better than others, but I can’t imagine where hundreds of people would be congregating in theme parks without fear of spreading a virus, people aren’t allowed to congregate. Who’d even travel now if it’s not essential.
