I had an anxiety attack two hours ago and took a klonopin. I was supposed to have a chat session with a therapist in the afternoon but she cancelled and told me she was leaving the platform. I chose a new therapist that is a psychologist for a session via phone tomorrow.

I am a little concerned for my friend joanne

life isn't treating her that good at the moment and I'm afraid it may get worse for her before it gets better.

My anxiety was really low today. I didn’t have any Mountain Dew. I had coffee though. Something about Mountain Dew just causes my anxiety to explode.

I had a lot of anxiety today about doctor appointments and leaving the house. I did some journaling and reading to try to cope with it. I also did a guided meditation. It helped.

I ordered doordash, which is hard for my agoraphobia because they always get lost and don't know how to find our place and sometimes we have to go out and get the food and I'm terrified of leaving home, sooo... my mom basically dismissed this as not a good thing that I did. I mean sure it seems like an easy thing to do for most people but for me it isn't and I did it anyway. So I'm kind of hurt. But I know she loves me.

I really haven't been able to sleep and I don't feel like I can settle down enough to go back to bed. I'm glued to the news. I feel worried.

My anxiety was pretty low all day. I had a large iced coffee, a Mountain Dew, and a can of Tab Between 8 and 11 this morning. and then a medium Coke at 1:15. But I only took one Xanax and that was at 3:45 in the afternoon. I haven’t taken my visteral yet. I just don’t understand this anxiety one bit. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to it.

@Breaking Dawn, that's great that your self-talk helped. I've done a lot of reading on the importance of positive self-talk. Sometimes I like to listen to audio files with positive messages as though I'm saying it to myself. It makes a big difference. I've read a lot of Shad Helmstettor. Don't know if you're familiar with him. He has some great books on the subject.

Today I'm less anxious. I haven't been watching as much of the news. And I think I slept fairly well. I plan to get more sleep and do some relaxing stuff today.

I am feeling much less anxious today. I rested yesterday and had no expectations for myself other than to try to relax. I think it carried over to today. I'm thankful.

I went out earlier by myself to do a 10 minute walk. I'm worried about going to the pharmacy that is a mile away from home because I have a refill left. My parents don't want to pick it up for me.

I was pretty much fine from 7-noon. Then my anxiety was bad from 12-3:30. But then I took my meds and I was able to shower and I feel a lot better and I am so ready for tomorrow. I’ve been waiting for this since I was 12.

I had some high anxiety taking the learner permit exam because I am afraid of cops. I start feeling nauseous, shaky,and start feeling like I was hyperventilating. I did really well on my exam and pass.
