I like that approach and am trying to do something similar. One thing I do when analyzing is ask myself if was an adaptive response or an authentic response. An adaptive responses are those that we might do to protect ourselves and are not coming from our authentic self. For example, I might feel angry if given feedback at work. I might thank the person for the feedback, decide if I should address it in any way, and calmly respond if needed.

I’m doing ok overall anxiety wise. My therapist advised me to stay off social media and limit news to 30 minutes a day. Sound advise.

Cutting social media is a good thing, you dont need those terrible facts in your head, same for the news I concentrate only on the important ones.
It gives me less opportunits to compare myself too.

Yesterday evening I went for a quick walk around, I didnt know it was so chill at night, there arent all those people and noises, its amazing before you sleep. Fits my day too because Im usually very busy. Did the same this morning when the sun was about to rise, so calm.

I'm in sort of a good anxious mood. I'm a little excited about some positives yet concerned about what I don't know. And I feel a little impatient and a tiny bit worried about how to proceed.

Yesterday I called two companies via phone for a two weeks work experience.
Spent like 30minutes overthinking and stressing while the dude at the other side is so chill and "Sorry we can't because of corona" then the second one was rly nice and professionnal and got a yes.
I see it as good progress because the other day I hesitated for 2 hours whether to call or not
This time I just told myself "just f*** dive into it" then the first seconds only were stressing.
Ended the day happily but still anxious.

I am not calm today. I am having a bit of a struggle trying to get myself in a better place emotionally. I wish I could give more detail. I am pretty sure this is just a slump. So I look forward to that light at the end of the tunnel turning into, you know, sunlight?

Didn't sleep well after a day (yesterday) of worry and anxiety. I struggled so much yesterday after days of doing fairly well. I hope today will be better.

seriously: I saw someone wearing a pair of gloves today and my first thought was oh, she's going to abuse me
