I developed panic and agoraphobia a few years ago and recently it has gotten very bad. But I noticed something odd about how my anxiety and panic gets when I am going home. Today I walked down to the corner. I walked down there just fine. But as soon as I turned around to go home my anxiety went haywire instantly.
so as soon as I decided to go back home my anxiety was triggered. Doesn't this seem rather unusual for agoraphobia? Also, I am finding myself waking up in the morning with a panic attack. It is especially bad if I am startled awake. I am not on any meds for my issues yet. I seem to have increased anxiety when starting meds fr some reason but I will give them another try in a few weeks. |

Hello StillWaters: I don't think there's much of anything I can offer with regard to this. If you see a therapist, delving into what this is about might be a good idea. However I believe this is your first post here on PC. Welcome to Psych Central. I hope you find PC to be of benefit.
