No it's not easy dealing with anxiety. It's a constant challenge. I do take medication for mine. I didn't for a long time. But just a few months back I finally decided that while I could soldier on without psych med's my anxiety was causing me to do harm to those around me who didn't deserve to bear the brunt of my struggle. Sometimes, I think, one just has to do what one has to do. And no... I don't have an ax. At one time I did. But that was many years ago.

I’m very curious as to why 50% of people who voted find easy to deal with anxiety. I guess these replies are from people who are not affected by it because in a different way, I don’t understand a thing.

In my case I would like to have an ax, a machete or something more powerful to face to anxiety. I know that you cannot face “the *****” face to face. You only get to feed it.
I even had to ask for my retirement from the richest job I ever dreamed of. It’s paralysing as hell.

The way to minimise the impact exists. Please, don’t give it up, but I know it’s very hard.
