I'm laying bed. Vyvanse gives wakefulness and focus but I'm not interested in anything anymore and I dont want to do anything. Theres no point of taking the vyvanse. I'd rather sleep. I cant multitask on vyvanse.
Maybe I'll take a dexedrine 10mg while in class and for studying but other than that vyvanse doesn't help me. |

I'm so sorry you're struggling, Desoxyn Before changing any meds, it's always best to talk about this with your Pdoc. Otherwise there may be trouble. Please take care of yourself. I'm so sorry you have to deal with this

I'm sorry the Vyvanse isn't helping you. Vyvanse makes me not sleep. But I'm really tired when I don't take it. I hope you find something that works well for you.

Switched from Vyvanse to back to Concerta. Tomorrow I'll see if it helps better.

The 36mg Concerta is much better but not as strong as the 40mg Vyvanse so I'll try 54mg next time but that's as high as I'm going to go.

Switched back to Vyvanse again but this time 30mg. I was on 54mg Concerta but I had to take my beta blocker twice a day instead of once a day.
Now I'm on the Vyvanse and take the beta blocker once a day again. It provides a more clear focus than Concerta but I prefer Concerta. Oh well.. |

Switched to Adderall 20mg XR. It's like a smooth mix between Vyvanse and Concerta. More stimulating than Vyvanse but not stimulating as Concerta to cause fast heart rate. But the dose is too low to know right now. I would probably like 30-40mg XR a day.
The focus may not be as good as 30-40mg Vyvanse. But Adderall isn't covered so I have to pay for it. I might still pay for it anyways. |

I'm in Canada. I'll have to pay 200 CAD a month for 60x 20mg Adderall.
I woke up this morning and took Adderall, went back to bed.. couldn't even move and barely could open my eyes. It took 29 minutes for it to kick in.. |

I realize that Vyvanse does the exact same thing as Adderall so I'll just stick with Vyvanse and deal with my other problems some other way.. At least then the Vyvanse is also covered so w/e..

So, after all this time, trying different stimulants and dosages, I ended back on Vyvanse 40mg. I guess my expectations are too high for a stimulant and what it does. But I'm fine on 40mg Vyvanse. I'm not sleeping right now. Sometimes I do on the stimulant, sometimes I don't. It just depends.
So I'll put everything to rest and continue taking Vyvanse.. Maybe work on cognitive therapy. I missed an appointment with my therapist because I was too tired waiting for my refill cuz my doctor said to use the rest of the adderall and 30mg Vyvanse until I get a refill. I'll have to call my therapist tomorrow and book another appointment. I'm not sure what to say to her or what I or she can do but w/e.. |

I take lorazepam when I really need to sleep like if I'm doing something important the next day. But I rarely use it. It's mostly for rare panic attacks.
So far the Vyvanse 40mg has been really good. I'm taking one every morning and it allows me to not stay in bed. It's quite a miracle actually.. |
