hi i have adhd autism as well as some other issues.
i have had a lot of trouble with things like reading for years, and i thought it was concentrate with a traumatic event i experienced. but lately ive been trying to read. I recently made an adapted like bullet journal with daily tasks, and it has been working so well however the reading and focus was still difficult. today after not having caffeine really for a while i had some soda and ice tea im not sure if this has anything to do with it but i could focus so much better a after my family went out and i drank soda. this could have been due to my journal but im not 100 percent sure, and im not sure what to tell my psychiatrist about my focusing well. i also have problems with my expressive communication, and possibly selective muteism but so far it has kept me awake for a whie so dose caffeine help focus? do you have any tips on curbing cabin fever and a bit of hyperactivity? also how to concentrate and focus Last edited by Mnby123; Jan 24, 2019 at 12:56 AM.. |

The only way to be sure about it is to ask your psychiatrist, Mnby123. Hopefully he/she will be able to help you. If you want to try it by yourself, you could try to avoid caffeine for a while and see how it effects your concentration. Are you taking any meds? They can affect your concentration as well. Either way, telle everything you're experiencing to your psychiatrist. Maybe that could help. Feel free to PM me anytime. Wish you good luck! Let us know how it goes. Sending many hugs to you
