It's been a few years since this topic came up here so I thought I'd bring it back up.

Does anyone have any experience with weighted blankets?

I know they're expensive (at least for my budget) so I was thinking of making my own. Does anyone happen to know where to find instructions for making a good one that won't get too hot?

I have one and I love it! It weighs 25 pounds. I like it so much I use it year round. I set the AC low so I can use it in the hot weather.

I have one as well and I love it. I bought the biggest and heaviest I could find, lol. It's 25lbs and I also use it year round (I'm also ALWAYS cold so...). They are definitely pricey...

I'm thinking about getting a weighted blanket myself. I've been finding it difficult to sleep at night.

My weighted blanket is 25lbs or 40lbs? Idk but it's heavy af.. If I'm having a panic attack, I feel like I'm closed off from the world and there's bumps on it to feel..

Cuz I remember when I was tripping on shrooms I loved feeling the blankets. They felt so soft and I just layed there for an hour feeling the blankets...

I do have one but I’m scared to use it because it cost $200 and I have cats and I don’t want them to puncture it and cause the beads to spill out. It’s on my shelf.

Weighted blankets are now kind of trendy and stores like Target and Bed Bath And Beyond are selling 15 pound ones for around $70. Which is nothing compared to what they usually cost.
