I've never had the official diagnosis evaluation, and it would kinda be hard in the case of an adult woman. But my psychiatrist, who is treating me for bipolar, thinks I have it but won't diagnosis it, my talk therapist talks about my "Asperger's" all the time, I have had several past therapists think I have it, I score high on quizzes such AQ, RAADS, etc... I have meltdowns since childhood, excessive interests, empathy problems... At this point should I just count myself like a high-functioning aspie, who has Bipolar 1 too, or do I really need a more through evaluation?

I can't answer your question. However here's a link to an article, from PC's archives, that (if you haven't already seen it) may be of interest:

I have some psychological reports from when I was a child highly detailing my meltdowns, the fact I had social skills therapy, and stuff like that, but I have Medicare and Medicaid and the place around here that evaluates adults only takes the Medicare so there would be out of pocket expenses and I cannot afford these.

How does this affect people who want to emigrate to a different country, and the country looks over the applicant's health records and often rejects people who have disability?
