Several people ask this. It's the most asperger related question I get.

"How is it to have Asperger Syndrome?" I would understand if it was something that I got later in life. I was born the way I am. How on earth do I know how life with my disability is? I never had the same life without it. I have nothing to compare with. So, they can't know from just observing how it is to be me? Then how can I know what their lives are like just by observing them then compare? If it was possible, they could just compare without asking...

But I want to know what is it like to be NT, to easily socialize, easily understand nonverbal cues, and it must be wonderful. That’s want I want to ask NTs. Since I have NVLD I have always felt socially awkward and didn’t really understand why until took neuropsychology test. NT is neurotypical.

My friend has aspergers and I think he is probably one of the smartest people I've ever met... he just kind of loses social interactions when around fake people. He really struggles with fake conversations and when someone is lying or telling tall tales.
