Okay so update, i started looking into some routes to be formally diagnosed. However the sources ive found have now led me to a new issue. The expense. Many are not covered by insurance and I’m looking at $1500+ for a consultation alone..... is it cheaper to get use a dr referral? Instead of seeking out a psych myself?... is there a such thing as “ in network” psychs that evaluate for this kind of thing:/ it’s already hard enough finding a dr that will eval an adult... but i feel like it’s so awful to charge people so much when we’re just looking for help/ answers

Dear pandabear0927,

Wow. $1500+. I wouldn't be able to afford that. I sure hope you can find a less expensive option!

Sincerely yours, Yao Wen
