Does anyone here get the abilify injection or have you in the past? Any difference between the injection and pill form if you have tried both?

I am thinking of asking my Pdoc about it. I have been on abilify tablets for 10 months and had no manic episodes which was great.

I recently went off my meds and I am trying to figure out a way to get back on. Taking pills is just difficult for me to be compliant with so I thought perhaps this would be a way to get back on the med I have found to be most helpful. I dont mind needles in fact Im a little weird I kind of like them lol.

I was thinking abilify injection and welbutrin pills when depression starts to kick in. Of course I have to get Pdoc on board which might not work but wanted to see if anyone has experience with it first.

I was on the injection and loved it. I have/had break through symptoms but it's been the most tolerated AP I've been on. I'm on 20 mg desolvable now. Can you keep a daily journal to keep track of meds, symptoms, side effects.

Thanks MM, glad to hear it was a good option for you. I dont know what my Pdoc will think because I dont want to take the depakote anymore and he has always pushed that one most.

I have a mood tracker on my phone but I am bad about using it. I am just not a very consistent person in many ways.
