Do you dress up? Pass out candy? I don't because with all the costumes it's hard to tell what's a hallucination lol. Plus our neighbor across the street always dresses up as Jason from Friday the 13th. He just sits there and stares...it's creepy as hell.

We used to always dress up as a family and take the kids trick or treating....then the kids got too old and we started dressing up to pass out candy. 3 years ago my youngest son decided to sit in the drive way and pass out candy. Last year we didn't do anything but watch movies and snack on candy. This year we didn't plan on anything but today my youngest son decided to pass out candy in his Jedi Costume and I will go sit with him for awhile.

I'm sorry you can't tell what's real sometimes. (((Hugs))). I'm glad you have a sense of humor about it

That guy across the street sounds like an interesting character

The only trick or treaters I get now are the folks at work who bring in their little ones. We haven't had any since we moved 5 years ago and I don't even turn my light on anymore

When me and my sister were younger we would do that too - all dress up and go trick or treating. It was fun then.

And that sounds nice. I hope you have fun with your son!

Yeah it's only funny around Halloween since everyone is always dressed up haha.

And yeah that guy is creepy! I don't even think he has candy to pass out. He just turns his head to watch you...

I don't dress up. I haven't dressed up since my senior year of high school. Hearts just not in it. I've taken my son to the church's trunk or treat for the past few years. That's where we went this year. Plus I swallowed my anxiety and took him to a few houses in the neighborhood. I left candy in a bowl on the front porch. Most of it got taken, but not all. There's still some trick or treaters about, but I don't feel like answering the door anymore so I just shut off the light. Now I'm just trying to make sure my son doesn't eat too much candy!

For people who like to watch scary haunting movies on Halloween, Netflix has a spooky original movie they just put out called "I am the Pretty Thing That Lives In The House". We plan to watch it tonight along with an episode of Westworld which is super awesome

We're passing out candy. Not too many coming and they are all so polite. We have a big basket with Mimi candies and most are just taking one or two. I started telling them to take a handful.

Not dressing up this year cause I've gained too much weight, but I love holloween.

Got candy but no one came My son stayed home because he has a nasty cold. He's getting to big for trick-or-treating but I don't know how to break it to him.

I think the kids got so much swag at Sunday and Saturday events that they are just not that into it anymore. We've had about twelve or fifteen goblins but that's a third of the usual.

I'm about ready to disconnect the doorbell and go smoke weed in the garage and hide for the next few hours.

We turned off the porch light and the doorbell. We managed to not be interrupted. We have had trauma with strangers at our doorstep and prefer to be alone.
