Yes, keep us posted how your job search goes. It can be very frustrating and stressful looking for a job but it sounds like you are doing everything you need to do to find a new one that you like.

Just got notice that I made it passed the initial screening for another job. Just filled out some forms and will hopefully get a call for an interview.

Was contacted for an interview yesterday for Friday. I filled out all the paperwork and then nothing. Not another word from them. I need to know if I have to take Friday off or not. So I sent a short email just as a reminder. Still no response. I have no idea what is going on. How long should I wait?

Tomorrow at 10. This is my first in person interview in a long time. I have to buy new clothes since I have gained so much weight from meds. I hate clothes shopping. I can’t stand how I look. Doesn’t help that my T is really skinny like I used to be.

Please don't sell yourself short; I honestly hate when I like the candidate and then they sell themselves so short. Also I can detect nervousness more than anybody so please don't go crazy shaking your leg that just means you feel intimidated by everyone; try and be commanding and enthusiastic at the opportunity. Ask questions about the company that is usually a big sell that someone is very interested. My last tip is just try and relax and read the room a lot of the times you can tell if the interview is going well; also try and read the room if you go off on a tangent it tends to bore the interviews. Remember look professional; firm handshake; and a calm smile! You got this and I wish you all the luck. I'm glad you are trying to get out of the situation you are in; I wish I would have done the same when things turned sour for me as well.

You know if I was a T and had a client going to an interview I would text them good luck and maybe a calming exercise. I don’t understand why they don’t do things like that. Same thing with like surgeries and stuff. They won’t do well wishes well at least the ones I have had won’t. I feel that is just a nice and decent human thing to do. Ts and their boundaries confuse me at times. I know they aren’t our friends but they are still human.
