Has anyone ever used a headhunter or resume posting service? Are they worth it? I think it would really be good for me to get some help.

Well it has finally come to this. I have to hire a lawyer and be out thousands of dollars. This all makes me sick to my stomach. I know I am right but can I prove it?

My boss said it isn’t fair to others if I am still working there. Such a BS comment. On official things they say one thing. But then off the record they give another reason for wanting me gone. I have no idea when this lawyer is going to say tomorrow. I don’t even know what I want anymore.

Anxiety through the roof. Hired a lawyer and now my wife is mad. She doesn’t think it is worth the money.

It's better than getting fired. Hopefully it'll work out. Did you try a head hunter?

No headhunter yet. Work just told me I can’t have a lawyer present at the meeting even though they will.

I can’t do this anymore. They aren’t going to believe me. Why put myself through this? Now my T wants me to try Ketamine. It isn’t covered by insurance so it is about $500 per session. My wife will never allow that.

I am done.

$500 is a lot. Can you talk to your pdoc to help? are there other options then that? does your wife understand how you feel?

Trying to remember more things for my meeting Thursday. It is hard because the depression and ECT caused memory problems.

I am sorry as I am new to this conversation and have only read this page. Still, I can tell you are suffering immensely and have few treatments lefts to give you hope. When did you have the ECT? I lost nearly a year of memories prior to the ECT and for two months after my brain was mush. So bad I thought I could never work or study again. Then hypomania kicked in and the wheels in my brain started rotating fast again. The hypomania abated but the improvement on my brain has remained. I really hope this is the case with you.

Also, I am on the rare side here but Ketamine was a total disaster for me. It wrecked me psychologically which led to a slowly brewing major psychotic episode. It also had me in bed for about 10 days after AND my depression did not abate. As I said, I am a rare exceptions, but there may be better options than Ketamine for you Please don't give up hope. The answer may just be around the corner.
