Getting ready to go to a play at the university.
Had brunch of a BELT (BLT with an egg.) on rye bread with mayo. yummy and some diner browns on the side.
had a couple of bloody marys for brunch.
I need to do laundry today. Maybe do a little cleaning.

I love going to plays! We have had several playhouses close this year. The local universities still have their seasons of ongoing plays.

I used to travel quite a bit to see some more plays.

The play was good, long 2 1/2 hour long. But we enjoyed it.Went to dinner with a friend had an ahi tuna salad. It was delicious!
laundry is going...maybe clean my bathroom floor. Hair spray and dirt don't mix well.

I am getting older....
I have a tooth ache that came from chewing on a tough piece of meat. I don't have any fillings so thought maybe this is what a cavity feels like. It is getting better thankfully.
My right foot hurts on the side, mysteriously woke up with this hurting. My back has been bothering me more...and my ribs are sore. Ate more than half a bag of gummie worms and my tummy doesn't feel good. And I have been having more hot flashes.....I hope I can sleep tonight. Only had 2 beers. Saw Carol tonight and that was good. Watched the pbs special ken burns country music. We have liked this the 3rd night.
I think that is enough **tching for tonight.

The only thing that is bothering me is my right foot.

It is painful and I don't know why.
tummy is fine, back is much better, tooth is fine.

Ken Burns was just here. He showed some of his PBS film and and then had live C&W entertainment at a pub just around the corner. People really liked it.

Got up a little earlier this morning because I was going to get my nails done, but decided that I would not do that so here I sit on the computer.
I had a lot to drink this weekend. Seems like I am out of control.
Hubby never says anything.
I am reading a good book by alan carr: the easy way to quit drinking.
It is good so far but has not gotten to the point yet. I still have 100 pages left to read.
My right foot continues to hurt. How long do you wait in pain before seeking medical advice?
Last friday I told my chiropractor about my foot and he adjusted it which hurt and I don't think it helped any.
Have a light day today an afternoon client did not work out as he is now in the nursing home after an illness. and I don't go to the particular nursing home. I give in-home pedicures to the elderly. Have been doing this job for 20 years. Love it! But my business is slowing down and I don't know why. need to work on building up my practice.
On to my second cup of coffee...need to get going!

I am thankful for our friendship, Bizi. I realize you struggle a lot with your relationship with alcohol. I am betting you will get the upper hand when you are ready. I love you just as you are.

If you haven’t gotten relief from the chiropractor then I’d say you need it checked out. There are so many bones and tendons in the foot and ankle area it could be anything.

I’d think you should get an X-ray to r/o anything broken.

The weird thing about my foot is that I just woke up with it hurting.
I mean WTF!
I don't remember any trauma or trip or anything so it is a mystery to me.
I guess the only way to truly know what is going on is to have an MRI.
and that is expensive so am trying to avoid that.
I guess I should see my GP???

My GP has sent me straight to physiotherapy in the past without recourse to an MRI. It's definitely worth going. Oh, and in my experience you sometimes just wake up broken. There doesn't need to be a reason, physically or mentally.

Re: your foot. I had that happen. I stood up and suddenly had severe pain. (I had walked a longer distance than usual earlier in the day.) The pain was so severe. I thought I had broken my foot. I went to Ortho. They ordered Xrays. They could see quite a bit without an MRI. I have plantars fasciitis, which surprised me, as I had it before and it was not as severe as this time. My chiro also adjusts the bones in my feet. My feet do better, overall , when she does this. Sometimes, when my feet are really bad, she does massage on them, which really helps.

For PF, I was put in a night splint, had special orthotics prescribed, was given exercises and more. I was able to bypass spending the time and the money on PT and am getting better. My chiro helps me out if I have questions/issues in the meantime.
I know you are in pain. I hope it is something simple!

What I learned from years of problem drinking and using other things is that, at the end of the day, you're ready to quit when you're ready to quit. I struggled and struggled and struggled and then, one day, I was just done. You'll know when it's time.

Saw carol tonight that was good.

Called my old therapist about making an appointment...she has yet to get back in touch. I will see her once a month.

Jeffs birthday is friday and I have yet to find him a gift. I am looking for a magazine rack for the floor. He mentioned that he wanted one in passing so bed bath and beyond folks recommended hobby lobby. So I will go when I have a break tomorrow.

my folding stool broke so I need to research it and find a new one. It is usable but could scratch the floor. So I really need to get right on it. Update: I found one on amazon so that is great! It will be here in 2 days. It was on sale so decided to pop for the extra shipping.

Had my blood drawn today chem profile and parathyroid hormone. lithium level came out fine.
I have an elevated calcium level so rechecking that. AM hoping that my parathyroid level is normal.

My right foot is painful. I made an appointment to see a nurse practitioner who is filling in for my regular doctor who is on vacation. And her first appointment was for the end of october.
Not good. So I don't know what is up with my foot.

I am behind in my billing...need to get on that!
