Is it normal for family members to cut you out of their life because they don't want to deal with my instability? If it was my family member I couldn't cut them out of my life. Life is very lonely right now without any of my family. I have one friend that is there for me but I'm afraid to lose her because of my instability. I wish my life was different. The only family member that was there for me was my Mom but she died this past June so I have nobody.

I’ve done it.

I’ve had it done to me.

People protect themselves in ways that sometimes feel selfish or unfair from the outside.

I got kicked out and disowned at 16. Mainly because I couldn’t stop fighting with family. I don’t blame them I just couldn’t do that to my son. All of us came back together, when I was less argumentative and they needed me. I’m fine with it I forgave them.

I agree with FirstBee.

Not telling you what to do but don't worry about losing your friend you mentioned....am betting it's causing you too much struggle, and actually making the loss more likely.

These are abandonment feelings you are having from what I can gather. Hopefully are talking to a professional about it.

Sometimes it can happen, tmg4me You're definitely not alone in this, as this thread has already shown. I'm so sorry you don't have any support system IRL at the moment. Please remember that it's not your fault. You didn't ask for it. There's nothing wrong with you - you're just struggling, that's all. And you're doing your best to get better. Be proud of yourself for that! I'm so sorry, I know it's hard when the people who should be the closest to us rejects us. It's really hard. But it's not your fault. Hopefully you'll be able to make more friends as you get better. Try to hang on. You can do this! You're strong, I know that. I believe in you. Is there anything we can do to help you? Please let us know. Remember that we're here for you to support you. We'll listen to what you have to say and won't judge you. We care about you. We all love you here. Feel free to PM me anytime. Let me know if I can do something to help you. Wish you good luck! Let us know how it goes. I'm sos orry you have to deal with this
