Hi there, it’s been a bit rough again after a long time of feeling stable. I’m TTC with my husband and after I had surgery we are doing IVF in a few weeks. Dr is trying to taper me down off Lamictal. I’m at 75mg fr 100mg. I was at 200mg but when I started trying for baby, they reduced me. They want to do gradual. So, lately I’ve had old symptoms creep back. I take it at night, (Lexapro still 10mg in am).. but before my night dose I get way wacko. Stressed out, manic racing thoughts, immediately project to my husband convinced he doesn’t love me anymore... etc... ugh it’s not good. I see it happening lately. Another thing to note is I’m trying to shed a few #s, I started a low carb diet - not way low just under 100g carbs, and increase my work outs. I don’t know if this is adding to the problem??? 😓🤦🏼*♀️🤷🏼*♀️🤷🏼*♀️🤷🏼*♀️🤷🏼*♀️

I'm so sorry, SilverSprings Perhaps you could ask your doctors to increase your meds temporarely? It sounds like you're going through a lot. I'm so sorry, please don't give up. You seem like a very strong person. Diets are hard too, but it's good that you're trying to eat healthy! Hopefully that will help a bit. I hope things will go well with your baby! I'm sure you'll be a wonderful mother. I'm so sorry, I wish I've had more advice to give to you. Is there anything we can do to help you? Please let us know. Remember that we're here for you. Feel free to PM me anytime. Let me know if I can do something to help you. Wish you good luck! Let us know how it goes. Sending many hugs to you

I have no advice. Hang in there and keep posting so we can continue to support you. Also make sure your pdoc and T(if you have one) knows. Maybe get your husband to sit in on one of the sessions to help him help you.

My gut feeling that you'd regret if you don't keep trying on reduced meds for pregnancy, and that going off diet might relax you a bit. I very much hope there will be a good outcome for the two of you.

I think you should just focus on one thing at a time. Just work on reducing your meds then when that's accomplished you can work on your weight. Doing both at the same time might be alot to take on right now together.
