I find myself completely hopeless and feel as though im almost completely dissociated from my body. Motivation is at an alltime low, got a job i enjoy but i could not muster the strength to go. Ive been laying in bed for two plus hours because i cant convince myself to get up and going, diet is trash, not enough exercise, definitely not enough sleep, thanks for hearing me vent.

Never lose hope. Never.
Take Hydroxicut HARDCORE three times a day. It's over the counter. Acts like Adderall. Until a doctor can prescribe proper medicine. Cheers. __________________ ]Roses are red. BoomerMudcat,
I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems like this. I recently came out of a deep depression much similar to the symptoms you have. I felt hopeless and as if things could never change. I know having hope is hard -- but this feeling is temporary. Think of it like this -- are you always happy? or sad? or angry? Do you ever experience one emotion forever? There may be long periods of one emotion-- but it's not permanent. With medication, psychotherapy -- other resources like family or friends, it can really help. I don't mean to belittle depression at all. I mean, it's more than sadness and hopelessness.. but I'm talking about those symptoms in general. Depression sucks, and we have to deal with it the best we can. It always helps me to remember that I won't always feel one way. The change can be positive. Just don't lose sight of that. Don't beat yourself up because you can't do much today -- accept that you can't and you're doing what you can. I hope that'll help with the struggle just a little. Welcome to the forums BoomerMudcat!
I'm sorry you're feeling so crappy. No worries, vent away. That's why we're here. Depression sucks. It also lies. And can feel like it will go on forever, but it won't. It can be so hard to do things, but try to break things down into small components, say 5 minutes. Even little things can give you *some* sense of accomplishment, which can be hard to come by when depressed. Hoping for you that it abates soon. __________________ ********* Mr. Robot Makes me sick to the heart, Oh I feel so tired. And the way the rain comes down hard, that's how I feel inside. --The Cure
