Tonight I am really hurting. I have already maxed out on my Xanax for the day. I feel like just crawling into bed and never getting up. When will this nightmare end. I will probably lose the EEO investigation at wrk which means I will l get fired. I can’t find a job because my brain is so foggy I blow the interviews. I can’t even get a job at Target. I have to work a minimum of 19 more years and that is if everything goes right. I am just so tired and overwhelmed.

I wish I could take your pain. Is it your medications that are making you foggy headed?Have you told your doctor how you feel? Maybe an adjustment to your medications might help. Mine are being adjusted again. It's a very frustrating process, I know.

My psych nurse just increased my Prozac in the hopes that it would help diminish my incidents of panic. I actually think it's making me move towards mania again, and has done nothing for my anxiety. I see her Wednesday, but I wish it were today. Sleep if it's what helps, and when you feel stronger you can do more. Your illness is not a fault of yours. It doesn't define you. It plagues us, but we are not our illness. You are young I imagine since you said you have another 19 years before you can retire. As far as working goes my suggestion would be to talk to a career counselor. In my city we have several different organizations that help people with mental illness find jobs. I had to quit working last September and go into partial hospitalization. I was panicking whenever I left the house, paranoia, hearing voices, you know, fun stuff. My psych nurse is trying to get my agoraphobia under control without using benzos. Not really sure how that's going to work out though. So I take each day by itself.
Are you living with anyone who can help alleviate some of your symptoms? __________________ I'm bipolar 1, agoraphobic, ocd, and gad. Fairly happy go lucky. Prozac 20mg Geodon 80mg Saphris 10mg Lamictal 150mg All I can offer is my heartfelt honesty |

I am sorry to hear this. I am sending you compassion. It is not your fault you are unwell and your brain is foggy. Do you think it is your mood or the meds? I hope things look up for you soon, hang in there and stay safe.

I'll second the idea of seeking the assistance of an organization that helps people with MI find jobs. I got my last one that way and it was VERY low stress. Then recently got one very close to home on my own and wowza, what a mistake!) Hope things look up soon! __________________ ********* Mr. Robot Makes me sick to the heart, Oh I feel so tired.
