Share a story from when you were fundamentally happy (or at least plain happy).

When I was a kid I was genuinely positive, and everything was an adventure. Even going to the supermarket. I'm trying to bring those days back again. Hopefully, you have some nice memories you want to bring back too!

I also had a good childhood, up about til i was ten. I had a younger sister and she was my constant playmate. We giggled the hours away playing Barbie. We watched a soap so our play was quite racy -- Barbie and Ken would have affairs and get divorced. In the Summer my dad took us all camping and we were in heaven, loved the beach and the woods and bonfires.

Those days were carefree and happy and i'm grateful i got a good start in life.

My childhood was no different than my life now. During my extreme moments I'd have great happiness and positive outlook in life. My life is described by being on a rollercoaster. Throughout my life I'd have happy memories which was heighten by my mania.

Now for my lastest very happy episode which lasted weeks or months but for sure it was just in the end of 2018.

December 2018 was magnificentl and the best month of the year!!! I felt love and great memories with another bipolar person, that's very similar to me. For awhile I didnt feel alone. That's what I'd love having back.

Cheers

okay, my tturn to share one:

me and a group of girls went rafting on the river (building our own rafts)

as we were going down the river, I couldn't help notice how short the raft was and how unsturdy it was

I guess I moved a bit too much because I ended up falling in the river with my clothes on (shoes and all)

so, I swam back to shore in my muddy clothes, and then they said look, it's nice outside today, why don't we have a picnic

so I had to take all my clothes off, put them in the raft to dry, and basically sit their with nothing on enjoying the food

it was a bit embarrassing, but I laugh about it.

my mother walking in to the room one evening with a box

when she told me to look inside, I felt something fluffy and warm (and moving)

imagine my shock and surprise (and sheer delight), when I was told it was a dog

for me and the family

it was adorable!

watching a young woman move and breav after I performed CPR on her

it was sort of an emotional time.. she had plans to go on holiday to see her boyfriend (who had flown out a week earlier), and when I heard her breav and saw her move, the first thing that came in to my head was oh, my god, I've just saved her holiday (no one else was around to even notice her). she thanked me too and I helped her up

one year for halloween having this little green alien toy

it was so simple- you pressed the buttons on the side and it would make spooky noises

so simple but so fun

I grew up next to a wooded reservation. I loved exploring and just bombing around the woods on the trails with my bike. One day, I came upon a raccoon. I thought it was the greatest thing ever. I figured I'd try to catch it so I went back to my house to get a paper bag. I went back to find the raccoon trying to climb up a stone bridge over a small creek. In one hand, I held the bag. In the other, a stick I tried to use to force the raccoon into the bag. The raccoon, of course, chose not to cooperate and it hissed at me. I got scared and booked it out of there. Obviously, I'm lucky I didn't get rabies but it's one of those vivid memories from our youth that we always remember.

I used to know an autistic woman, and her name was hanna

she was nonverbal, and actually quite nice (she loved her disney movies, and also any movies with super heroes in it)

well, sadly, the person she was with abused her quite a bit (and among other things, snapped her dvd of her favorite film)

so I baught her another one

I remember the day exactly, I walked up to hannah and said look hannah, look what I have for you

and she saw the cover and litirally jumped in to my arms for a hug hu

so lovely

giving my music teacher a lesson in "how to get wet"

my music teacher was the smelliest person ever (I challenge anyone in the world to find someone or something, smellier). she didn't shower, she didn't use perfume, you could litirally smell her in another room

one day I got my chance to soak her.

for a fundraising event, they set up some stocks in the playground and the teachers took turns to sit their, for the kids to throw sponges at

well, the music teacher had a go at sitting in the stocks and I had a right fun time throwing the sponges so hard at her, soaking her in every possible place (in fact I think I was so forceful it was because of me that the stocks actually broke)

it did nothing for the smell, but watching her emerge dripping with cold water put a smile on my face (and on some kids faces around me)

going to toilet in a phone box

well, when you gotta go, you gotta go

best part: watching the person in charge put up a "out of order" sign on the door

being out at the shop and seeing this mother with this squealing baby girl

she says to me " well this is elsie, I can't seem to calm her down"

I turned to where elsie was on the floor squealing and went "peekaboo", and just like that she became still and calm

the mother was greatful, and as for me, I was wondering if them other even knew about peekaboo

Camping beside a fire under the stars in the National Forests of Arizona and on the beach in Mexico.

Reaching the top of a mountain or a scenic point on a good, challenging hike.

Swimming in remote streams and water holes.

A horseback ride on a beautiful day where your horse and you feel like you are both enjoying it.

When I used to be able to jog and I was able to achieve a jogger's high.

A good power yoga class with good music when you are able to achieve a yoga high.

A good long swim when you are able to be completely immersed in the feeling of gliding through the water.

Feeling like you are floating when you go to bed as a kid because you spent so much time in your swimming pool.

Sailing to a remote island and drinking on the boat with friends at sunset.

Seeing a beautiful sunrise or sunset.

Riding my bike with friends on scenic bike trails.

Riding on the back of my H's motorcycle.

When the wind lets you sail your boat fairly fast.

Going on a challenging hike into a lush canyon.

Finding and climbing the perfect tree for climbing.

Shimying into a dark, underground hole and going exploring via flashlight.

Seeing wildlife our your window or when you go outside.
